Gli italiani del Bi&Esse Infotre Protek hanno offerto grande spettacolo al pubblico presente all’Alone Bike Race.
Già a circa metà giro Luca Botticini ha deciso che era tempo di salutare la compagnia mentre il compagno di quadra Vittorio Oliva ha controllato gli inseguitori in un primo momento per poi sferrare anche lui l’attacco. I due bikers del team Paolo Novaglio hanno continuato la gara in coppia fino a quando Federico Rizza è riuscito a recuperare su Vittorio Oliva, superandolo e soffiandogli il secondo posto. Vittoria meritata per Luca Botticini, e terzo posto per Oliva che è riuscito finalmente ad esprimersi sui suoi livelli. Sfortuna per lo junior Affò, autore di una buona prestazione ma costretto al ritiro a causa di una foratura.
Al Tour dell’Assietta buon quattordicesimo posto, sesto tra gli under23 per Mattia Penna.
